During my time as EDC assistant, I discovering a predator who circumvented the post requirement restriction due to Annea’s technical incompetence to which she jokingly replied that “they[those who are complaining about safety] can go back to mpa if they think it is less safe here HAHAHA. Just kidding” and that “all [she’s] got these days is [her] dark sense of humor” siting the member who was kidnapped in 2014. She objected to increasing three forum permission restrictions to 15 posts (challenges) as she wanted to prioritize “member retention”. She felt that the precautions on EDC, if correctly implemented, serve as enough protection against any “creeps” and it would be fine “as long as people aren’t posting half nude photos elsewhere”, victim-blaming those who are preyed upon by sexual predators.

Annea agreed to put out a PSA after my suggestion and than proceeded to edited my draft, neglecting to mention the permissions failure, and removed “my eight suggestions to help minimize your risk against sexual predators” as “the wording was off” and “it was taking [too] long to edit”, publicly stating she would be issuing another PSA on tips but never made good on her promise. She also softened the language as she felt much of the PSA was “fear-mongering” by suggesting that it is likely a predator is already lurking on EDC and that this one case specifically is “one of the more tame ones” that she has heard and that I was “overreacting”.

BANNING ANA-COACHES

~*~* Vertical Scope told GoddessAnnea "no Ana-coaches" and she took the credit... ~*~*

BUT THE DAY BEFORE "IMPLEMENTATION" on DEC 6th, 2022:

• Sooooo how long ago did GoddessAnnea explain Ana Coaches to VS? Because I don't believe it was on the 6th of December. It was probably when I e-mail spammed them about Ana Coaches 6-7 months earlier which resulted in VS updating their software imo to feign "safety and security updates" in case they received publicity involving sexual predators. (See Vertical Scope thread).

Real talk, there was no reason to not ban Ana coaches for YEARS other than they don't have the moderation team to keep up with reports... Admin was absent, the mods were in control. They have had the power to do it all along, so why didn't they?
